World Wine Shipping Policy
Your delivery will be between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday within 5-10 working days from receipt of order. Some orders may take a little longer to fulfill e.g. if we are waiting on a shipment from overseas or a new vintage to arrive.
Delivery on your order is free if its value is $250 or more. Your order can be for one bottle, a few, a mixed or a straight case - if the value is $250 or more, delivery is free.
For orders under $250, a $10 delivery fee will apply. This will be automatically calculated and displayed as you purchase.
There are a few destinations where an additional freight charge will apply - some rural parts of Queensland and Western Australia and all of the Northern Territory. These charges are:
1-6 bottles $35
7-12 bottles $45
This will be charged in addition to the amount shown during Checkout.
Australia Post is our courier for deliveries within Australia. Post specialises in wine deliveries, with a focus on delivering wine safely, and they have a 'track and trace' system on their website so you can monitor the progress of your wine after it leaves us. When your wine is despatched from our warehouse, you will receive an email from us to let you know, and also an email from Australia Post giving you a tracking reference number.
We CAN deliver to Post Office Boxes, and to wine storage facilities.
We may charge for re-delivery of orders if we are given incorrect address information. Also, we arrange for wine to be returned to us if the courier is unsuccessful on the first attempt at delivery, and the customer has not made contact after seven days to arrange for a redelivery. If wine is returned to us, we charge a $35 fee to repack and resend each case of wines.
Whilst we make every effort to deliver all your goods in the agreed time, we will not be liable if we fail to do so in part or in full due to circumstances beyond our control.
Deliveries do need to be signed for by an adult aged eighteen years or older. We suggest deliveries be made to a work address to ensure someone is available to sign for the item.
World Wine delivers to most countries around the world.
A fee will be charged, in addition to the amount shown during Checkout, for the additional cost of freight and international insurance. The fee will depend on the amount of wine being ordered and the destination. In some instances, the Australian GST (VAT) of 10% will not be charged, and will be offset against the freight fee. World Wine is not responsible for delivery of wines internationally and the buyer assumes all risk of carriage. World Wine is also not responsible for any levies, duties, taxes etc that may be charged by the Government of the destination country.
Credit card charges
Your purchases will appear on your credit card statement from Wade's World Wine.
World Wine automatically insures each domestic order placed with us. This covers you from any package lost or damaged in transit.
Wine Damaged in Shipping
It is unusual to receive a damaged product from World Wine. However, in the event you do experience a problem with a shipment, please contact us within 30 days of your purchase date by calling us on 1300 288 115. We may require you to return any unopened bottles to us for quality control information and will determine this once contacted. At our discretion we may offer a replacement, a discount, a refund or an account credit to be used for a later purchase.
Dissatisfaction with the Quality/Taste of Wine Received
At World Wine, we are proud to offer great values on the world's best wines. Our goal is to help you choose the wines that you will enjoy. To give you a balance of information, World Wine displays ratings from several different well-noted publications. We also offer many product reviews and lists of our top sellers; all to assist you with your purchasing decisions.
While ratings, testimonials and reviews may influence your decision, the ultimate judgment is yours. Although we work toward providing you with as much information as possible to help you make a selection you will enjoy, we cannot guarantee that you will like the taste of every bottle of wine you select. However, in the event you do experience a problem with the quality/taste of a bottle, please contact us within 30 days of your purchase date and provide the details of your problem. If you would like to return an order for taste reasons, we will issue a refund or account credit, less the original shipping and handling charges, and return shipping and handling charges.

You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase wine from World Wine. All packages sent out by World Wine require a signature upon delivery. We recommended you provide us with a business shipping address for best service.
WARNING: Under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 it is an offence to supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years (Penalty exceeds $6,000). For a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor (Penalty exceeds $500).
