The Yarra Valley is possibly the ultimate region in Australia for Chardonnay. Our goal is simple; add to that reputationwith our definitive vineyard site coupled with the finest clones to create a modern age, premium chardonnay. The hand picked fruit was gently pressed and the free run juice barrel fermented with both indigenous and cultured yeast. Matured on lees for nine months with a small portion allowed malo-lactic fermentation to create depth and balance. The wine has white peach and roasted cashew bouquet. A linear fresh citrus character runs through the palate supportedby good weight and length before an apple crisp finish.
World Wine
It’s low alcohol but there’s a fair degree of fleshy flavour here. Peaches and citrus, grapefruit and creamy, nougat-like oak. Good drive and length, but upfront enjoyment too. Accomplished. Winefront

Wine Advocate
Fermented in French oak using 40% wild yeast and approximately 10% malo-lactic the 2010 Chardonnay was aged in 30% new French oak for 9 months. It offers an intense nose of tropical fruits - pineapples, guava and passion fruit - with toast, oatmeal and ginger nuances. Light bodied and very crisp in the mouth, it gives plenty of tart tropical flavor with a long creamy finish. Drink it now to 2015.

Biodynamic designation is regulated by Demeter, an international certification organization. Biodynamic agriculture is based on the view of a farm as a self-contained organism. Certified organic vineyards must meet Demeter"s additional criteria for a period of one year before earning the designation "biodynamic."
Sustainably Grown
Sustainable practices incorporate organic standards and may exceed them and include ecologically and socially sound business practices such as fair pay for farm workers and energy conservation.
Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.
